How to get to GEC 2012

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC, Turkish Kuzey Kybrys Türk Cumhuriyeti) is a self-proclaimed republic on the Northern part of the island of Cyprus.

• To fly from your country to İstanbul and from İstanbul to Ercan airport (Northern part of Nicosia)
• To fly to Larnaca directly.

You can see details below;
All visitors to Northern Cyprus will need to pass through TRNC immigration, which is an easy way. Citizens of the European Union, the USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, Iceland, Israil, Switzeland, Norway, New Zealand and Avustralia do not require visa. All other nationals should check their position with regard to passports and visas with the nearest Embassy or Office of Representative of the Turkish Repuclic of Northern Cyprus.
All flights (including charters) must touch down in Turkey before continuing to Ercan airport. Scheduled flights on Turkish Airlines Atlasjet and Pegasus connect via various destinations in Turkey.
It is also possible to fly to airports in Southern Cyprus (Larnaca is the closest) and take a taxi to the North, crossing the Green Line near Nicosia. It is best to have our travel operator arrange a taxi from the North to pick you up from The South, since Greek Cypriot taxi drivers may not be willing to take tourists to the north.
